Sir, shall I give you "evidence" that bowling bals sink when thrown
into the ocean? Liberals the world over deny their politics and the
trail of global wars, human suffering and mass murders they generally

human deprivations, not free economic enterprise under capitalist

Sir, you're as freakin'liberal as they come. And again, like liberals

Time, in itself, destroys nothing, sir, for matter is neither created

tear up the fucking foundation and replace it with marshmallows, or

Sir, the courts change everything, and if it were not so your crowd
whould not have used them the way they have over the last fifty years
to totally transform this culture. Roe v Wade totally transformed this
country, and your crowd knows it. They also know that if ever put to a
vote it would be overturned tomorrow.

No you didn't. Perhaps if you are a DAR, some of your ancestors did.
Conceptual thinking, we see, eludes most of you liberals. Gee, since
we, in the 21th century never fought a revolution, that course of

You could. But who would you revolt against, and to what purpose?
To get rid of people like you forever, sir, is what purpose it would

I saw with my own eyes, and heard with my own ears, James Rasmussen
say
to
Susan Estridge the other night that he served on the same boat with
John
Kerry. I checked that out and found that not to be true.
Rassman (sp?) was ON the boat with Kerry at least some of the
time, but he was Army and Kerry did fish him out of the water.
I also heard Rasmann fail to answer a direct question about his
version (under fire, everyone else left) and the fellow on the bridge
of the other boat ALONGSIDE who was also picking up other
soldies (no fire, only the damaged boat left).
Rassman didn't answer the question but started off on something
about "35 years memory fades" -- the fellow on the bridge, "14
feet above the water line, 360 degree view" had the story you
would believe if you knew none of these people and it was a
court case on which you were the jury.
It would not surprise me if this is just a big bunch of hokey from a
bunch
of GIs whose war stories grow with each telling.
Possibly -- Kerry is just the wrong guy to start believe his own
war stories after his attacks on the American GI and throwing
away his decorations and then trying to build a campaign on those
same decorations.
According to the official citation for the medal, he was NOT on the boat
with Kerry. His memory has faded quite a bit if you ask me.
I have the official paperwork in my hand. It has Rassmann on Kerry's
boat, then
being blown off his boat.
Doug
"official paperwork"? Like what? The stuff from Kerry's own report
again? His reports and reality don't seem to blend too well.
Seems ALL his awards are based on information Kerry provided.

Not unlike now. We are almost two years out of recession and we still
have 8.2 million unemployed, 1.5 marginally employed. And are still
one million jobs short of reaching prerecession job numbers (never
mind the 8 million we should have added in that time to keep up with
demographics.)
You are using the employers survey. This survey favors large
companies and undercounts jobs in small or new companies. Now, I know
that Dims naturally favor large companies over small ones so I
understand your preference. If you look at the overall employment of
the population survey, the number of people who say they are employed
is at a record high, over 135 million.

The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it.
And one path we shall never choose, and that is
the path of surrender, or submission."
----President John F. Kennedy
. . .At several points in the show Krugman was practically in
shock, with hands visibly trembling.
O’Reilly was masterful. He didn’t for one moment grant Krugman
the undeserved respect that everyone else grants him, thanks to
the prestigious aura of his Princeton professorship and his New
York Times column. And O’Reilly didn’t let Krugman get away with
any of his usual stunts.
O’Reilly uncompromisingly held Krugman to account for some of
the outrageous (and outrageously wrong) things Krugman’s written
in his Times columns. In one case, when Krugman denied what
O’Reilly accused him of having said, O’Reilly jabbed his index
finger toward Krugman’s face and shouted, “Don’t call me a liar,
pal. That’s what you do all the time, and I’m not going to sit
here and take it.”
O’Reilly had reminded Krugman of his repeated predictions of
economic catastrophe as the result of President Bush’s tax cuts
— a catastrophe that, obviously, hasn’t materialized, and which
Krugman now denies having predicted. Here’s part of the exchange:
O'Reilly: ... "Mr. Krugman was dead 100 percent wrong in his
columns, uh, two years ago when he said the Bush tax cuts would
lead to a deeper recession. You can read his book and see how
wrong he was."
Krugman: "Actually, you can read it. I never said that. I said
it would lead to lousy job creation."
O’Reilly: "Column after column after column. You made the point,
in your book, okay, that these cuts, these tax cuts were going
to be disastrous for the economy."
Krugman: "Nope ..."
O'Reilly: "They haven’t been."
Krugman: "Uh, uh, I’m sorry. That’s a lie. Let me just say,
that’s a lie."
O’Reilly: "It’s not a lie."
Krugman: "It’s a lie."
Krugman’s the liar, not O’Reilly. It’s just too bad O’Reilly
didn’t have a quotation at hand to prove it. Among dozens of
possible examples, Krugman wrote in his April 22, 2003, New York
Times column that
"Aside from their cruelty and their adverse effect on the
quality of life, these cuts will be a major drag on the national
economy. … it’s clear that the administration’s tax-cut
obsession isn’t just busting the budget; it’s also indirectly
destroying jobs by preventing any rational response to a weak
economy." http://snipurl.com/8bnb
O’Reilly followed up by cleverly asking Krugman — since Krugman
was claiming not to have predicted a deeper recession after the
tax cuts — whether he instead predicted the economic growth of
the last year? Krugman was so flustered — no doubt knowing he
was checkmated — that he stammered out this remarkable
confession:
"Compare me … compare me, uh, with anyone else, and I think
you’ll see that my forecasting record is not great."
You can be sure we’ll be quoting that one again and again! On
this one matter, we most heartily agree.
What bull.
Al Franken plyed the confrontation.
Krugman still knows wht he's talking about.
AND....O'Reilly is still an uninformed bully and a liar.
