1. Who can use RocketReader?
   Adults, students and children aged 7 and above can use RocketReader.

2. My unlock code is not working.
   Your unlock code comprises of your email, a symbol and a series of numbers. You need to enter the whole code including your email, the symbol and series of numbers to convert the trial version into the full version of the software.

3. Is there a version for Macs?
   Yes, RocketReader Online is Mac compatible. To learn more, click here.
   

4. On how many computers can I install RocketReader?
   You can install RocketReader on one computer for your and your family's use. RocketReader Professional can be installed on up to 3 machines (e.g. your laptop and home and work computers) for your and your family's use. 

5. What is the difference between RocketReader and RocketReader Professional?
   RocketReader Professional has the following additional features to RocketReader:

   • ability to import material from websites,
   • license to install the software on up to 3 machines (e.g. home and work computers and your laptop) for your and your own family's use
   • 12 months of web updates and readability analysis tool.

6. How long before I see improvements in my reading speed?
   You should see significant improvement with regular training within a month. You can double or triple your reading speed.

7. How should I use RocketReader?
   It's best to have short, regular sessions rather than infrequent long sessions. Fifteen to twenty minute sessions a day are ideal. When  you have attained your desired reading speed, simply maintain your skills with two to three sessions a month.
   

8. I want to use RocketReader with my own documents. What file formats does it work with?
   The RocketReader training exercises work with documents in these formats: Microsoft Office, PDF, RTF, TXT and HTML.

9. Is American or British English used?
   The RocketReader readings and comprehension tests can be accessed in American or British English. Your language setting is automatically detected when you start RocketReader. You can change this at any time.

11. Can I use texts in foreign languages with RocketReader?
    Yes, RocketReader does work with texts in some foreign languages. We recommend that you download the free trial and try it out with your foreign language text. (It does not work with text in Japanese).

12. Is RocketReader suitable for individuals learning English?
    Yes, RocketReader can be used by individuals learning English. The pop-ups and key instructions are available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Portuguese.
